Anywho Africa could learn from the mistakes of America. Mass incarceration privatized prisons, and a lackadaisical approach to punitive measures for the more violent criminals only leads to the sexual exploitation of younger, less hardened offenders.
Say whatever you want, but the Scandinavian model for prisons is the gold standard. Sure a serial killer will be treated to an xbox 360 every now and then, but the overall community is infinitely safer.

Even as dangerous as South African prisons are it's in a league of its own. The numbers gangs are concentrated in the area and as a result the prison is riddled with them.
