Don't have cable anymore. What's the best combo for live TV?

Fire Stick, Chromecast, etc. Too much terminology going on and I don't wanna just jump in without. I don't have a 4k tv btw. I keep hearing about Fire stick and Kodi but I don't know what that is

I'm looking for Live TV mainly. Travel Channel, AMC, etc. Already got Netflix for movies, but I guess more couldn't hurt.

We just switched from Hulu LiveTV to Youtube TV. If you got Chromecast, Roku or Apple TV, YTTV will work flawlessly. There's no official support for the Firestick, but it's plenty of guides out there to get you setup. Stopped paying for Netflix, since I setup my own Plex server. Plex is similar to Kodi, with a better interface.

This spreadsheet breaks down which channels you get with each provider.

Respect the good & understand the bad
Hulu or youtube tv

Or check the sticky in jbo if you're somewhat technically inclined

The nvidea shield is the best streaming device available. Though it's $160, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone that wasn't happy with it once they got it dialed in.

firesticks aren't that bad though for most users

Firestick is just a device that lets you use apps on your tv. Chromecast is a device that lets you cast videos onto your tv from other devices. Im tempted to tall shyt but Ill let it go.
