Cool, but with how long Kojima takes with his projects we won't see anything until at least late 2018.
And that's being generous with the time frame. Kojima had mentioned before that he would like to revisit Snatcher and Policenauts. I think it would be dope for his next project to be one of those. I love MGS but I think he should take at least a one game break from it. PT showed us that he has great ideas that work well with games other than MGS.

Well to put things in context, Kojima wasn't just working on MGSV after MGS4.
He was involved with the development of MGS Peace Walker, Portable Ops, Metal Rising Revengeance, MGS 3D Snake Eater and also developing the new Fox Engine(as well as P.T.)

I'd wager that the game was being developed alongside the FOX engine since 2011 so that'd make it 4 years since a new mainline MGS was out on a brand new engine. That's pretty par for the course to put it in proper perspective.

He worked on a castlevania game too. Plus he was VP of Konami.

But no one else seems to put this into context when they say he wasted 5 years and 80 mill.

He also got a new ceo during development. old ceo might have been cool with giving Kojima a runningn budget.

yeah I found that out recently and it really seemed kind of harsh to say the guy just dikked around for 5 years on one game. Dude was putting in work.
