I'm seeing all these ads for Alexa and whatnot. You really need a "voice automated assistant" that bad that you want audio inside your house being broadcast 24/7 out to companies known to GIVE that data to the government

Sure this was posted, but law enforcement is trying to get Amazon to cough up Echo audio recordings that might have been made during a killing/murder in someone's house:
Alexa, whodunit? Amazon Echo data could play part in murder case
Now, why is Amazon fighting this so hard? I think because they don't want people to know how much data they're capturing from you. I've got all kinds of devices in my house that want to access the internet autonomously or stream my voice out to the internet (and FOH to all of them that try).
About 10 years ago Bush tried to launch TIA (total information awareness) and that got slapped down. All they did was get corporate america to do it for them

" that they're actually not. All it takes is for the government or law enforcement to request that shyt and they're gonna hand it over no questions asked.
