As some of you may know, I switched barbers at the same shop a few months ago. My original barber went on vacation, and had another barber filling in for him. The new cuts were:




I asked for advice, and y’all told me to switch to the new guy.

My cuts have been better, and the new guy is ALWAYS on time.

BUT,

My wife found a new stylist for her hair, and she’s in a salon suite. There was a black barber, and she got his info, and I got a cut from him today.



It’s just him, and a chair, no shop, no waiting, I can book online, cuts $10 cheaper, he validates parking…



We were talking, and he trained the guy who runs my old shop.



Don’t sleep on the salon suites barbers, and you can’t meet women who get their hair done.

This is a weird thread cuz growing up black meant getting a hair cut by barbers in a salon while your mom got her hair done on the other side.
