Celebrate urban dysfunction brehs
I don't think this is a celebration, more like a sarcastic response to that other thread where non-Californians were even remotely suggesting their traffic is worse than LA.
It always amazes me that people underestimate the sheer amount of humans here in Los Angeles and California as a whole.
Greater Los Angeles is the largest metro area in the US by physical size, and second largest by population (only because New York fudges the numbers and includes an entirely unrelated state. We might as well include Vegas if that's the case

). The public transportation in this city is also notoriously absent and/or lacking, mainly because of the huge size of the city.
It makes sense why we have the worst traffic in the country, but for some reason, people from places like DC want to compare their congestion to ours, when you could fit MORE THAN SEVEN DCs in the area that makes up LA, and at rush hour EVERYWHERE IN LOS ANGELES IS CONGESTED.
