Ehhhhhhhh.... I guess it depends on the age of the person. My Father In Law is 89 yrs old and just bought his first HDTV 6 months ago. He called me to ask if I knew why the picture wasn't showing so I went to the house to help him. No big deal.

Dude had the old school tube in his living room. Joint blew out on him but he got almost 20 yrs outta that muhfukka. He say he had it since 1997.


Why don't TVs have that kinda longevity anymore? My parents 55 inch Sharp just blew out and my son's Samnsung is fading at the top.

I'll hear people say they have a hd tv but still only use dvds. Dude at my job don't even have a hd tv. nikka thought he could watch 3d bluray on a crt ole land before time ass nikkas. It's 2015. Can afford the newest iPhones but not a bluray player to go with your tv. Buy Avengers 2 on DVD brehs

My dad 78 and still has a booty tv with cable on it.. had it going on 20 years...

He doesn't Care about the latest shyt and doing fine..

Too many people caught up with having everything every body else has, especially poor people who can't even afford to buy decent groceries

The final phase for me is learning to build a computer from the ground up, once I'm there, I'm set.

Yeah dawg... when I started working on my Informatics degree I found myself getting really interested in building my own computer. If I finish that degree, I think it might spark my interest again.

And you're definitely spot on with everything else. My mom is very much into making family videos and shyt so I rebuilt a codec for her to give her more space for data consumation.
