She apologized for causing confusion on tribal sovereignty and tribal citizenship. She acknowledged that she is not a member of the tribe and says the tribe has the legit authority to decide who has citizenship and is a member of. Her dna test proved that she likely had Native ancestry 6-10 generations ago. That alone doesn't establish a link to Cherokee Nation or any other tribe.
