Nobody's dog bites until they do..
If I had a young kid I'm not putting them around anyone's dog regardless of what the owner says.

I have big dogs and little kids. The dogs are so sweet and lovable with them. Donāt bark, donāt bite. Just want to stay besides you or get pet. Still as a parent Iām not gone more than 15 minutes max without coming back to check on everything. And the 15 is usually me doing something important. Otherwise I put the dogs up when Iām around. And they have never gave me a single reason to think they would ever turn on my kids or wife. More so kids have unpredictable movements sometimes and dogs can get alarmed by it. So you canāt assume a animal doesnāt have the capacity to switch in the blink of a eye, just because you as a owner get the ultimate respect and obedience. Also dog choice is the most important. You got German Shepards like I do and you donāt have to worry about them turning on your kids . They are too smart and understand firmly what a danger is and what isnāt. One of the most loyal and great with families. You got a pit and it can always happen. All it take os the right trigger.
