I picked a college that's in the middle of nowhere so I had no choice but to do work so I'll go with rural. I couldn't do a party school or anything around a city.

There's nothing like going to a college town, breh, especially when the town's economy depends on the school to run. You get a lot of privileges/amenities just for being a student that the rest of their citizens don't :ld:

That's true. My brother goes to Louisville and gets treated like a king but he's on a football scholarship. I doubt any normal dude would get those kind of kickbacks.

I had my choice for all 3

I chose urban/downtown campus ....which was Temple here in Philly for several reasons...

first and foremost the connections....if you're in a relatively large city you can network more, get a mentor, and run into people that can excel your career. you could be shopping for groceries, at a bar whatever strike up a convo and it could be someone that can break you in.

secondly the alumni here in Temple tend to stay in the area...so breaking into careers is a bit easier when they see it on the resume

third internships in a city you can get an internship in the field you want easier than in a college town or rural area those places there are only but so many places you can intern otherwise u have to travel for summer internships....college towns/rural areas don't really have corporate headquarters in town...also getting a part time job is easier in urban environment the possibilities are endless.....

also...

nightlife is better

you get two educations...books and streets

the food is better

the only positives i see with rural campus and college towns is the parties...for instance Penn State it's poppin cause it's so far away that most kids HAVE to stay on campus on weekends so the parties are crazy.....Temple was a ghosttown on weekends cause u had a lot of kids who where from NYC, DC, or surrounding areas so it was nothing to take the bus.train back home (chinatown busses were like $20 bucks round trip to nyc and back 1 1/5 hours each way

Breh, it is out-fukking-standing. Went to visit with some friends a few years back so one could see his girlfriend. We went at probably 7pm and this is during the fall. By 8pm, girls in pajamas all over the campus.:dead: Chilling in lobbies with their hair in a mess and glasses on, laying on the sectional couches playing with phones and gameboys and laptops, buying shyt from the soon to be closing
stores, pink pajamas, red pajamas, baby blues.

Bare feet, cutesy house shoes, flip flops.

Jogging pants, boy shorts, yoga pants.

It was heaven on earth. Im 27 now, but if my money is stupid in a few years, I would not mind enrolling and staying on campus for a few semesters just to live that life.
The bros were cool, got your geeks on deck, the preppy chicks, the southside ghetto chicks....the campus is the 3rd most beautiful campus in the Chicago area, right behind Loyola Chicago and
Northwestern University, and only because it is super urban.

The entire walk through the school I saw ladies that night that should have been having my baby.:ohlawd:

Such an open-ended question. Depends. Are you married? What is your personality type?
