Unmarried does not equal "No father in the house."

42% living with one parent doesn't mean the other parent is absent. They just don't live in the same house.

You doing half way research to make a point and letting lazy sterotypes fill in the blanks.

One, black kids are doing better.

Two, black men are the most involved dads in America on a day to day basis--regardless with they are married to or live with the mom or even still in a relationship.

I stated almost 70% grew up in a single parent house. Almost all the terrible child statistics (less likely to finish high school or go to college, more likely not have a low wage job, more likely to have children unmarried, more likely to go to prison) are around single parent households.
I dont believe a man who is willing to impregnate a woman but not marry her is setting his kid up for success. It hints that the child was unplanned or he wasn't really interested in anything long term with her. So why was she good enough to go raw in?

Unmarried couples are double as likely to split up before a child is even school age. Unmarried doesnt mean no father in the house but it does mean they are double the likelihood to leave.

There is a notion that living away from your child is just as good as living with them and that simply isnt true.
