Dr. Claud Anderson discusses and hits on a lot of things that we have talked about from a black man's perspective. Very informative.
:obama:
How Black History is interwoven with American History and that the two can never be mutually exclusive.

Discusses original Hebrews being black
The Folsom People
UnderGround Railroad and Florida
John Horse vs U.S. Government
Toussaint Louverture vs Napoleon and its effect on America
Vicente Guerrero (black) & Cinco De Mayo
Emily D. West & General Santa Ana the ALAMO (Yellow Rose of Texas song made by Whites 'thanking' her)
Dred Scott & Mexico
Sambo vs Uncle Tom (call them the right name)
John Brown & Harpers Ferry
Meritorious Manumission Act of 1710
Arab Slave Trade (past & current) & Reparations (who we really should ask)

sit back and listen dude is nice :whew:

His credentials

Dr. Anderson has a broad and varied base of experiences spanning education, business, federal and state politics and successful social reform. During integration, he served as State Coordinator of Education for Governor Reubin Askew of Florida. While serving in that capacity, he founded the State Action Council, a coalition of black leaders for political action in Florida. Dr. Anderson, appointed by former president Jimmy Carter, served as Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Department of Commerce where he headed the Coastal Plains Regional Commission and funded and directed economic development activities for governors in the Southeastern states. He was executive director of two economic development corporations for the city of Miami, Florida. As special assistant to the 1988 Democratic Convention, he awarded 37% of the contracts to blacks, a record that has not been reached or broken.

the original lyrics are in this vid

Emily D. West is a black woman
These are the things whites never tell us, while learning American History because they are ashamed.
There's a yellow rose in Texas that I am going to see,
No other darkey knows her, no darkey only me;
She cried so when I left her, it like to broke my heart,
And if I ever find her we never more will part.
(Chorus)
She's the sweetest rose of color this darkey ever knew,
Her eyes are bright as diamonds, they sparkle like the dew,
You may talk about your Dearest May, and sing of Rosa Lee,
But the yellow rose of Texas beats the belles of Tennessee.
Where the Rio Grande is flowing, and the starry skies are bright,
She walks along the river in the quiet summer night;
She thinks if I remember, when we parted long ago,
I promis'd to come back again, and not to leave her so.
(Chorus)
Oh! now I'm going to find her, for my heart is full of woe,
And we'll sing the song together, that we sung so long ago;
We'll play the banjo gaily, and we'll sing the songs of yore,
And the yellow rose of Texas shall be mine for evermore.
(Chorus)

The expressions "high yellow" or simply "yellow" were used during this time period to refer to a light-skinned African-American with significant Caucasian ancestry, and the original lyrics may have referred to a biracial woman as the "yellow rose".
Some later versions of the song replaced phrases such as darky and rose of colour with soldier and little flower. In Mitch Miller's version No other darky knows her, no darky only me was replaced with Nobody else could miss her, not half as much as me and sweetest rose of colour this darky ever knew was replaced with sweetest little rosebud that Texas ever knew. Dearest May was replaced with Clementine and, beats the belles of Tennessee was replaced with, is the only girl for me.

the song was later transformed as a country hit for a TV show called "The Yellow Rose"
if anyone claims you see race in everything...its because it is in everything :wow:

Yeah, he goes in on quite a few things. There's tons of U.S. history that has been either white-washed or half-told. Knowing this can leave you :dahell: all day listening to some folks.

Everybody go pick both of his books. Black Labor - White Weath and Powernomics. Those two literally changed my life. :to: I was able to answer every question I had about why we're in the position we're in. It was like I was given the key to a treasure chest.

Other thing that separates him from other leaders is that he has tangible solutions to fix our problems.

Just watched another one of his vids from the 90's. Dude is almost prophetic with his predictions. Basically said they have purposely made it that..."You cannot prove racism anymore because race means GROUP. So when someone discriminates against you now, you are only an individual...therefore you cannot prove racism."

:wow: Dr. Claud Anderson just stated how & why George Zimmerman got off

the art of language and terms/definitions.

The Diversity Act of 1705 (has never went out of style)...this act led to the act of 1710 Meritorious Manumission Act (present day c00ning)

for every group of 5 blacks there must be one white to monitor. :whew: This guy is well informed and deep.

:ohhh: present day multiculturalism

this guy is brilliant

He described how the act of Meritorious Manumission 1710 has destroyed the black community in its use today.

"prisoners no longer acted like prisoners, in fact there was no longer any fences or gates. What they would do was give the prisoner a responsibility to monitor his own people. If he did anything that saved the life of his master, enriched him, or destroyed the plans of other prisoners trying to escape or start revolutions. he was given an extra apple or candy bar."

Basically, this allowed them to no longer depend so much on the Diversity Act of 1705. They didn't have to monitor as much because they monitored themselves.
This broke down communication because of lack of trust. And divided the community. Therefore you don't have a community..."and eventually the prisoners will broke to fight back and they started to die." :to:

:mindblown:

Meritorious Manumission Act of 1710 basically means to see the world through 'white society's eyes' and not your own. Everything is backwards or flipped in your own eyes.

Honest question: isn't this a typical byproduct of classism? Doesn't the same thing occur in near homogenous countries?

Marxists have always argued this to be true and to be a systemic control system. You elevate one of the workers to a middle management positions and he does whatever it takes to stay there or climb. Other lower works see this and do what they must to get that middle management position. Crabs in a barrel essentially.

Just wondering. No doubt that it makes it easier when certain members of a class look a certain way.

:wow: now he getting in to the terms of African American, Multiculturalism, and Minority (means Loser) and how the terms are meant to hide the condition of blacks.

Its best to call yourself either black or Non-Immigrant because of Multiculturalism will soon hide black folks based on skin color from mixing & (whites & Arabs are calling themselves AA because they actually are coming from Africa as immigrants, simply because we can't name the country we came from) :dwillhuh:
