Dre might be trying to protect him by keeping distance from him, and who knows what is in his will when he dies, unless it specifically states he doesn't want shyt to go to him, his son will be entitled to good portion of dre's wealth.

Yeah, he didn't raise him & met him when he was 20. However, Dre has had time to get to know Curtis Young the adult. Curtis is 34 now. In interviews, like Warren G, he says all the "right" things, but you can tell they are holding back.
I don't think Andre should just give him money, because I wouldn't. The last 14 years, he could have been molding him, polishing him up, & developing this dude for a job in one of his businesses.
I remember that one interview with Warren where he was tired of saying the right things & let everything out there. He was crying during this interview.
