This is kanye time and thats why he will get a lot of love, on the same if u make a comparison with say a dre and a swizz beatz then swizzy will get a lot of love too simply bcoz he more relevant right now. but when u compare once these guys are 25 years in the biz (if they even make it that far) then the truth always comes out, and that is that dre is marked down as the greatest ever. i can mellow to any kanye album for days but he hasnt done anything as influential as dre ever did.
The artists Dr Dre produced for got really big and are house hold names that almost everyone knows. Whereas Kanye West hasn't built that up yet and can't compare to the experience Dr. Dre has in the game.
