the game is as generic as he was in 2005 with no real identity and dr. dre ain't produced a song or album i liked in years:yeshrug:

in 2015, where some new quik production at? :wow:

that nikka was playin' a new song he produced for truth hurts on his unsung, it was on some bee gees type shyt :whew:

This is the truth. Dre has gotten so watered down and formulaic with his production over the last 10 years. Last good beat was outta control remix. And I don't think that is gonna change, his stuff has gotten worse and worse.

I liked Games mix tape shyt, 120 bars and runnin and all that stuff. I never messed with any of his albums. His name dropping, trend-hopping and rapper impersonations on tracks over and over was too much for me. And of course he's following the trend for rappers to make a sequel to whatever their deemed "classic" was.

Yeah so I'm not real excited about this.

Didn't he do Boss' Life off the Blue Carpet Treatment?

He also had some great production on OB4CL and Busta's only Aftermath album but I agree he's been a ghost the last 10 years

last dre beat i liked was the shyt he did for obie trice, "the setup"

and the game can rap he just seems like he ain't got his own persona. every time he on a record he's someone else or so it seems lol

the game reminds me of a "create a player" character on a video game, like on nba live or madden or some shyt. like just some generic rapper created with no real identity of his own

Dre being in the studio with an artist doesn't mean much. He's been pictured in the studio with several artists over the years, but his production wasn't featured on their projects. Alicia Keys' "New Day", T.I.'s "Popped Off" and 50 Cent's "Smoke" are like the latest songs he's had anything to do with production wise in recent years.

That wasn't a ghost production. Dr. Dre isn't listed as a producer. DJ Khalil is.

does it matter?

He was in the studio with Game.

Sounds like yall finding excuses for Dre.

His beats could have easily been garbage.

Remember Dre has a bonus track on Jesus Piece.

It matters because it's not a ghost production if Dre isn't even credited. Regardless of whether it was wack or dope, it's still not a ghost production.

@ bolded, thats exactly how i was. I always fukked with his mixtapes way more than any of his albums. Maybe Doctors Advocate is an exception tho. But his mixtapes up to about 2006-07 (You Know What It Is Vol. 4 was the last one i checked for personally) was heavy as shyt.
