They're 2-8 without Embiid this year.

As much as I love Simmons and would much rather see him in an All star game, his case isn't undeniable. If your case isn't undeniable coaches will value seniority over being a rookie. Dragic is getting rewarded for his seniority, the last year and half in which the heat have played magical basketball in the midst of many injuries (look at the amount of injuries they have now), that 48 win suns team, and multiple 20 and 6 seasons in which he wasn't an all star.

Benjamin is going to be a 10x all star in this league and I honestly have no problem with Dragic getting his first here.

Ben Simmons can't carry the Sixers without Embiid so no I wouldn't have picked him. We are 8th in the conference so we didn't need 2 all stars. Silver got it right
