Rap isn't Friday and Drake isn't deebo'ing him...quite the contrary, Kendrick is in a position where any conflict with drake...real or perceived...can do nothing but benefit him, he's not scared..has no reason to be...just wants stuff to develop so it benefits him (see: his bosses at TDE basically popping champagne because drake threw a shot on the Sh!t remix)
Rap is WWE...Drake is currently John Cena, the "man" as it were, the top draw in the business...but largely detested by jaded smarks, who would love nothing more than their current former indie-fed hero, Daniel Bryan, to be at Cena's spot at the top of the card an the face of the company...any interaction or feud with the top draw only serves to elevate the rising, trendy babyface...there's realistically nothing Cena could do to truly hurt Bryan, because the smarks hate him and just want an excuse to cheer for Bryan anyway...it just helps his upward trajectory
so it's a win-win for, dropping the analogy now, Kendrick...doesn't matter if he does stuff that rap smarks spend all day crying about online when other rappers do it...like bait bunch of rappers and ignore them when they actually respond and want to engage in some battle sh!t, like he did with Meek or Pap...or throw sublimes at Drake at the BET awards and the pretend like he didn't...because all that "competition blah blah blah" stuff rap smarks talk about is really just bullsh!t...they just want excuses to root for who they root for and and jeer who they don't...
Drake to his credit, realizes this and knows he's being baited... “If a nikka say my name he the hot shyt / But if I say that nikka name he still the hot shyt.” ....but it is what it is
