The Coli hates Drake but he’s right. The media has been this way in rap since BIG and PAC.

It’s only gotten worse due to social media and the fact that celebs are more accessible.

Also drake was just posted up in the club with that kid rapper so this quote is definitely bad timing. At the end of the day we’re all hypocrites but that doesn’t mean we can’t make changes.

Hip hop doesn’t influence the youth they say. That’s sick
Don’t that lil nikka got whole ass parents influencing his decisions? Any adults to teach him right from wrong? No form of media should be raising ur children. All I’m seeing is a lack of discipline. That reflects on the parents more than him.

I’m sorry but these arguments be on some Maga rationality shyt. You really can’t be over 28 thinking this rap shyt ain’t no big deal. Why does it just have to be one thing that’s the problem? Well what about the parents? Yea of course. As a parent I can say they are most to blame. Well what about his environment? Well that definitely affects how he thinks if he sees people in his community behaving like this. So here we are at what about rap? The negative images influence the black youth in how they think, dress, what they think is cool period.. and this isn’t a argument

It’s all of those things. But we are talking about a rapper, so in this thread we have to address the general role of rap and what benefits is it offering to the black youth. NONE. We have to be adults and take accountability for how we are as parents, our community, and the issues that are a part of our CULTURE and values. We the most fukked yo for a reason.
