While Drake was in attendance at Sotheby’s “I Like It Like This” art exhibition in Manhattan, New York City on May 7th, Vulture caught up with him for an interview.

During their conversation, Drizzy discussed what art means to him and choosing music for the exhibition, as well as spoke about what happened to the music video for his “Wu-Tang Forever” remix that he shot in Harlem with A$AP Rocky last year.

Drizzy Drake explained that he never finished shooting a visual for the song, due to his conflicting schedules, which is why it was scrapped. You can read what he said about the “Wu-Tang Forever” video below!

Wu-Tang Forever” is an interesting song choice. What happened to the video for the remix from last year?
Oh, man, that’s kind of behind us. That was two projects ago. There was a remix that 40 [Noah Shebib] was working on. He has a really personal relationship with a lot of those guys from Wu-Tang, and me and Rocky were working on a video at one point in Harlem, and it was cool, but with schedules and all that, different things came into play and we never really got to finish, which is not something I recommend. You should always try and finish your music video.

Even though I never listen to Drake, nor understand people who actually feel his music, I'll always respect Drake for his overall intelligence. Dude was the first to cosign Rocky. None of this "Jay-Z, Dre like this new guy" garbage. The type of cosign that comes up when they're trying to sell a mediocre "hip hop savior" rapper. Drake must have heard Live.Love.ASAP, thought it was ahead of the curve and had the balls to help put Rocky on. The new school helping out the new school.

Ayo @SirBiatch, how you gonna let this cac pedophile diss you, f@ggot? :heh:

Anyways, the main reason that Wu-tang Forever video didn't drop is because Wu didn't really fvck with the song. Maybe Drake knows now that when he wants to make a homage song for a hardcore rap act he shouldn't make it some cotton soft, semi-love ballad.

He did the same for Kendrick. He was the first to bring Asap and Kendrick on a major tour.

Kendrick was put on by Snoop/Dre/Iovine. Not quite the same thing.

but yes, Drake did offer Kendrick that "take care" package to help him rise.

Drake also credited Rocky on one of his albuns for inspiring him
