I don't know what ya'll don't get. Maybe you didn't have a father figure around, or and older brother or cousin to school you. Everyone saying artists of other genres allow others to write their music and it isn't frowned upon, and in some aspects that is very true. But in rap, your lyrics are your talent. You're not playing an instrument, and you're not blessed with a good enough voice to sing.Therefore, if you want to be taken seriously, your pen game MUST be good. I don't know how some of ya'll can't grasp the concept...if you can't write a good 16, where's your talent?.

Man some nikkas care some dont..me I dont care. Never been a fan and still wont. Beyonce doesn't write her songs either..neither did a lot of other artists. The countless number of songs babyface, r kelly, ect have written didn't take away from any of the artists they blessed, why would drake be any diff
