Drake is 38. Kendrick will be 38 in 6 months. Is this bad for rap?

I think it’s both one it is defying the notion that hip hop is a young man’s game. I do think though Kendrick is ageing better than Drake in hip hop because you can see more of an evolution and growth to who he is as an artist where I feel that Drake has the capability to he sticks to the same formula because it works. To me he’s became stagnant in terms of artistry and to me it’s going to do him a disservice if he don’t show maturity and growth in his music.
Tha bad side of it is it’s just showing how the younger artists aren’t creative enough to show why they the next ones in line. I think social media has kind of ruined it because now the youth are more drawn to the personality before the music. Which is why we are seeing the quality of artistry drop. Followers and likes are more important than quality.
