first things first. kendrick is the most overrated rapper of this generation. secondly, freddie gibbs is also extremely overrated. pinata is ok. that's it. it's not great. it's not classic. madlib did his thing, and he's a dope producer. but freddie gibbs is.....meh.

one thing i think with Drake is that his voice when rapping is what i think holds him back at certain times or with some people.

he's in a no win situation with certain people and at this point he's probably alright with it.
he's a bit of a cornball but i like his music..what i will say though, if i didn't fukk with his music straight off from hearing So Far Gone when it pretty much exploded, i think he would have had a much harder time winning me over....i still love that mixtape but Thank Me Later wouldn't have made me a fan.

This motherfukker is BORING. Seriously, the production is the only thing that saves his albums from being unlistenable. He can't sing, his flow is generic, and the content of his music is nothing special because other rappers go way deeper into the issues he talks about, not to mention they manage to do it without sounding like a whiny brat.

Don't get me wrong though, I can get with some of his songs, particularly these:









I just don't hop on the infatuation bandwagon of him being the best rapper of his generation. shyt is fukking laughable. Freddie Gibbs is going places though.
