I hate West Coast rap. Nipsey is the only one, in recent memory, whose music I could ride to. And even much of his output wasn’t to my liking. West Coast rappers are hardly ever on beat, their production lacks the sample heavy influence of New York, and the emphasis on gang culture is a huge turn off.

Listen to some Problem, expand from there.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
These nikkas capping their rap is not even popular

This Drakeo dude flopped with a Drake feature

I’ve spoken on this numerous times in the booth. Nikkas will say “who?” To a east coast rapper that makes the charts and does well but call you a close minded NY cat if you don’t know who their local flopped artist are.

My primary example is this trash ass dude Ralo from ATL. That dude didn’t get widely known till he went to prison. Before that his YouTube videos almost never hit 1 million views

:mjlol:

but then they’ll turn around and say Sleepy Hallow is irrelevant lol

Nah ralo was already popular. Not for music, for being in the streets and saying wild and crazy shyt.

his popular has gone done now and every forgot about him

The topic is about music breh. Not every hip hop fan is a street nikka or cares about streets politics.

Ralo as far as music was irrelevant and was hyped up. But the same nikkas will say French Montana is irrelevant
