Back in November last year, Drake‘s Nothing Was The Same album went Platinum, and now this weekend Chart News have announce that the album has reached double Platinum status.

According to Chart News, the Nothing Was The Same project has sold 2,040,000 copies worldwide since being released on September 24th, 2013.

That means he sold half a mill outside the USA. More than most rappers are selling in total the past few years

i looked at my wrist and its already platinum :banderas:

i was actually listening to NWTS earlier today and realized it woulda been even bigger if it released in the late spring/ early summer (around now)...perfect music for the season....it wouldve been triple or quadruple by now :wow:

I just expected the most popular rapper in the game, with multiple crossover hits & dating an International superstar to sell more abroad. I mean this is someone who claims he does pop numbers but the top Popstars sell far more than 2 Mill WW in a under year.

Eminem has sold 4 Mill WW btw and Carter 3 has sold 3.5m WW.
