I've found that it does make a difference. Not necessarily in how other's look at me, but in how I view myself. If I'm comfortable in my threads then I feel better about myself. As a result of this, I think better opportunities have been flowing my way.

Ah, ok. I dig that. I'm a big proponent of 'fake it til you make it'. I don't see the need in trying to floss what I don't have just to impress. Just being yourself is more valuable in an employee and people in general.
