The most depressing thread in the Coli is back... Another seasons upon us, another long, painful, embarrassing, liver destroying season.

Not much to look forward too, outside Harvey and the eventual Wheeler and d'Arnaud call ups, it's going to be a long season. Hopefully this year they suck from the get go and don't suck us in like they usually do. I don't think that will happen because the Mets are fielding one of the worst OF's in Baseball over the past 20 years. The Wilpon's still own the team. Alderson is still doing stand up comedy making fun of the OF instead of trying to improve. The price of tickets increased, all star game at Citi and our representative will be Brandon Lyon.

The few things we can look forward to or at least hope for

Continued growth of Harvey
Call ups of Wheeler & d'Arnaud
Hopefully Santana can pitch decent and we can move him for anything.. Freddie Coupon won't eat that contract though
Hopefully Marcum pitches to his ability and stays healthy and they can move him for something.
Same for Lyon.
Hopefully Wright can replicate his first half of 2012 and not the 2nd half.
Parnell can finally step into the closers role.
Ike plays like he did in the 2nd half for entire season.

Outside of that I have zero expectations for anyone.

Over or Under 72 wins for the season ?

I can't stand Duda. I was a fan last season and thought he could be a surprise bat, 20-25 HR's, .350-.360 OBP, .800 OPS, instead he is the worst baseball player to ever live. I know it's spring training but he is already 0-7 with 6 K's
