honestly sounds like bull crap to me, how does a regular drone get up to 5000 feet in the first place?

5000 feet is kinda but it wouldn't surprise me. JFK and Laguardia (in NYC) have a huge drone problem. Seems like every couple weeks you hear about one being close to a plane. If it ain't that, it's some idiot with a laser pointer.
