Its January...cold as shyt...people getting sick...even if you can't cook this super easy for anybody who's interested.....I'll set it off with Chicken Soup. Takes roughly 2 hours. This can easily produce at least 10 meals and will cost you under 20 dollars.
Ingredients
Whole chicken(Get the biggest cheapest one)
Carrots
Celerey
Parsnips
Onion
^^Thats the most basic...you can add any veggie after that(you can even used canned veggies if preferred...they actually hold nutritional value just don't taste nearly as good)
If you want to get fancy add these....
mushrooms
Zucchini
Leek
Lemon
One Hot pepper
You can add potato, rice, or noodle, I'm not carb gang RN so I don't
Instructions
1. Drop the whole chicken in the pot fill with cold water, innards and all (remove the bag and if it has that oven stick in it that 2)
2. Boil it for a couple hours...chicken should fall apart.... When it does remove and set aside and shred it up when cool enough to handle. Discard what you dont want or eat it all.
3. Chop up all the veggies into slices/little quarters however you prefer and let them boil while you're working . Add seasonings....whatever you're into....less is more and keep tasting...Sal Pepper + Turmeric(that yellow stuff) is a minimum..maybe some herbs
Throw the chicken back in once the veggies soften up and let it sit with reduced heat until you're ready to eat.
