The beat, lyrics and flow are on point but the disses are weak as fukk and wouldn’t have put a chink in pace armor. All they do is mock him getting robbed, repeat lies about him getting raped and make baseless threats. We all know Suge wand them mob nikkas would have ended up having them little nikkas hanging from balconies liek vanilla ice if beef continued l.

The song debuted on Future Flavors before Pac died. It was like an appetizer when it dropped. As if Mobb Deep was just getting started. The feeling at the time was that NYC was gearing up just waiting for BIG to say something but MD took the first shot to set everything off. But Pac died soon after and everything changed up so we'll never know what they would have pulled out of their sleeves had the beef kept going.

LOL at you bringing up Mobb Deep telling "lies" when Pacs whole rampage towards BIG was one big lie about him being involved in Pacs shooting.

Classic song
Good dis record
They changed it after Pac died. The OG was super flagrant.
Still better than most or all of the Pac records where the bars are ehh, and the real hype is the rants.
Against all odds>>>>>

He killed then with two bars “ mobb deep wonder why a nikka blowed then out/ next time grown folks talking nikkas close your mouth” he little nikkaed them and moved on to more important targets

The timeline was NY NY by Dogg Pound.......then LA LA by CNN and Mobb Deep....Then the Mobb Deep disses on Hit'em Up by 2pac because of the LA LA song. Pac didn't spit rhymes against Mobb Deep he was just talking shyt......Drop A Gem was in response to Hit'em UP. Against All Odds wasn't heard till after all of that. Drop A Gem was a response to Hit'em UP not Against ALL Odds. That's why Drop A Gem was an appetizer because Pac never dissed them with lyrics while he was alive, he only talked shyt. Mobb Deep responded to shyt talking with actual lyrics. But Mobb Deep couldn't give Pac the full coarse meal response to Against All Odds because by the time it dropped and everyone heard it Pac was dead.

So you bringing up Pacs 2 bars on Against All Odds doesn't match the timeline because Mobb Deep never could respond to that with full force due to Pac being dead..

Against all odds was a response to drop a gem on em. Pac heard the song while he was alive and recording makaveli.

:duck:

Now you just making up shyt and lying. According to the timeline of how Makaveli was put together the last recording was August 12. Drop A Gem was a few weeks before Pac was shot. It debuted on Future Flavors on a Sunday night. Pac was shot literally 4 Sundays after the last recording of Makaveli. (from August 12th a Monday to Sunday Aug 18, Sunday Aug 25, Aug Sunday, sept 1, Sunday Sept 8 is when Pac was shot)That's a month not a few weeks.
