Drum Machine question

Looking for some recommendations for a drum machine, using it as a practice tool for Bass playing. Definetly need one that has the ability to be plugged into a Combo Amp.

This looks like it would fit the bill, what is the general thought on one of these?

The one I had did not but that's a newer model so it might

For Hip-Hop type drums i think the Akai XR-20 is a good choice. (But it has garbage in it also)
Zoom Streetboxx even more.

Do you all use any live instruments when recording?

If it's to practice and record along, you could use a DAW and use drumloops or breaks.
