At any point in the communication, at any time. I'm not a fan of emojis for adults in texts or otherwise, for the over 30+ crowd. it's a pet peeve. That's a turn off to me, when dudes send that at any point, if I have a history with that person; then they already know what the deal is. Usually people that I tend to vibe with, don't do it regardless. I don't know about FB or IG though, I don't look at their accounts like that.
