“Too much stock in 2 parent households”I have 7 siblings. Everyone of them grew up in a 2 parent household. The first 4 have 16 children between them. Every single one of them have been a single mom (they are all married now though).
The last 3 including myself have 0 children.
Ya'll put too much stock into that "2 parents household solves everything" BS.
Having a guy around is not the solution to everything.
In fact, I would say pushing women to couple up, get married, have a man etc is what causes these women to try to keep a man around no matter what; including trying to keep a baby to have a guy around.
The 3 of us who have no children all have the same father. He is very independent and successful but he wasn't in our households.
We all just inherited his independent mindset. He didn't teach us that. It's just in our genetic make up.
How you are raised does matter but it's more complicated than just "have 2 parents in a house."
I have a family (3 families technically) full of 2 parent raised children and I really don't see awesome people coming from it. I think we need more in depth talking points.
I have a cousin who went to MIT and works for NASA. He was raised by a single mom (one of the few in the family). I have 2 other cousins who were raised by their parents who were teachers and their both a$$hole losers.

I have seen some of their clips and all of the clips that have gone viral are about degenerate behavior. They literally did a streamathon of simulating prison life and trying to make it seem like something that was cool or emulate. They're doing this in front of millions of children as well as folks around the world that gives them their impression of black Americans. DDG was literally calling the india lady his "ball" as a term of possession and its multiple cases of them moving that way in regards to how they view and treat women as well as themselves. But the sponsors have no problem giving money to folks who put on minstrel shows. Especially when it's helping to perpetrate black negative stereotypes to the youth.

If being in a 2 parent household was the solution then the majority of us wouldn't have children. Instead its the other way around.
In fact, some of their children they had (within marriage and outside of marriage) are now single parents themselves.

There’s countless research supporting this. And quite frankly you’re extremely ignorant if you don’t think that Black society would benefit from most Black people growing up in stable two parent households.
