Denis Villeneuve says DUNE 3 will be his last "Dune" movie. However, he's "not closing the door" on the franchise and other directors could take over Frank Herbert's other sequel novels. "I will not do it myself, but it could happen with someone else."

I would love to see Children of Dune and God Emperor of Dune adapted. I haven't read the last two yet but God Emperor ends the story that started with the first one

I havent read any of the books beyond Dune Messiah but I'm very curious to see how story picks up after the finale

Just an observation - The people that like Dune Part 1 and Part 2 tend to really like Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.
