I truly think that Kobe Bryant has set the bar of greatness way too high. As much as I respect him, I think he has ruined the game. I judge all these new guys the way Kobe was judged and none of them measure up. None of their games are as polished and none as skilled. Kobe at 34 y/o 6'6 has the best post game in the league. Its truly the gift and the curse. I hope another nikka comes along soon, I'm beginning to lose hope.

Is this the new favorite cop out? I keep seeing this bullshyt. Both Melo and KD have been favorably compared to Bron at some point in their career (just as recently as 1 year ago for KD). Now that they are living the life he lived in Cleveland all of a sudden bu...bu...but you can't compare them to Bron. All I have heard about for years is Melo's heart and his clutch. Prior to game 2 of the Finals KD was an ice-cold killer poised to take over the league. Now all of a sudden everybody wants to be .

The reality is, it's hard to carry a squad for 4 qtrs with a D keying on you and take over in the 4th night in and night out. I guess since it's not Lebron nikkas can finally see that.

But that's the thing neither of them should have been compared to Lebron in the first place. Melo and Lebron were pretty even in their rookie season, but Lebron surpassed him 8 years ago and never looked back. I mean a second year Lebron is much better than CURRENT Carmelo. That says a lot right there.
