at my last crib, they tore down an abandon house next door while I was at work one day, and soon after all the mice from that crib migrated to my crib. after like week of me trapping and putting out peppermint oil and putting steel wool in every hole I seen, we ended up adopting a cat and that solved the problem permanently. we kept the litter in the basement, but just the smell of cat litter and urine, even if the box is clean, will deter rodents from coming to your crib.
There is a trend going around tiktok saying nasty women always keep a man.

My pops was on some dumb shyt like her husband was on. When outside mice made their way into my attic from construction sites in my area, I called exterminators since this shyt is supposedly common in this area.
But he was talking dumb shyt about going up there and setting traps and poison and I almost cussed his ass out.. all to “save money” that he wasn’t even spending.
Turns out, I needed something called an “exclusion” which basically creates barriers from them getting into the home. Paid the 2k and they’ve been coming to my house for months getting rid of dead mice. Working all throughout my large-ass attic and roof.
All that to say, sometimes you have to pay to get the job done the safest/best way. Not having it is one thing, being a cheapskate is another.
And best believe I’m talking to my builders/realtors about them reimbursing me, because this bullshyt should’ve been known to buyers before purchasing. I also got a warranty for this service
She needs to fukk what her husband is saying and call professionals. Dead rats stinking up the home sounds like a nightmare. And unless he is doing his own “exclusions”, they will be back
