Top 20 Sellers for Week Ended 7-6-19 – Media Play News
20 years in the game
can't stop, won't stop
Wtf is the point of uhd. They can’t scale blue ray to 4K or is that an upgraded off shoot of blue ray? I’m confused
at anyone strictly on DVD.
at paying over $8 for a DVD.
UHD is more vivid and sharp. Basically blu Ray with a 30%-40% increase.
Buy a DVD bruhs.
Probably people that don't have a blu-ray player or people buying a bunch of old shyt that never made it to blu-ray.
People were still buying VHS because a lot of old movies weren't on DVD at the time
I haven't bought physical media in like 5+ years.
Haven't touched a DVD in years...... The thought of even opening a DVD box.. Pushing the little button in the center to make it pop up... Walking over to a DVD player to put it in and pressing play.... Sickens me just to imagine it....
I still buy blu rays
Same here breh I only owned a handful of DVDs over the years , Wanted , Dumb and Dumber , Mortal Kombat , Andy Milanokis Season 1
This is nothing to celebrate.
It's stupid they never cut them off. It's the only archival format that has not been sunset.
We are nearly 15 yrs into the HD era and 5 years into UHD era and we are letting consumers buy SD content to play on their HD and/or UHD tvs. It's asinine.
There are 8k tvs on the market and a format from the days of ps1 and n64 is still kicking
what sucks is some shows still won't release they shyt in blu or uhd.
The issue is that blu Ray never really caught on. DVDs last basically forever, so there was no incentive to rush out and upgrade your entire collection the way there was from VHS to DVD. And a lot of the up conversion has been shyt. And they always package Blu Rays with DVDs.
Some of y'all will wish y'all still had physical media when the streaming wars start. I still buy DVDs. Probably won't ever stop
