A big part of this probably had to do with giving your boy Whiteside the money he got. Obviously a lot was going after Durant too but having to renounce his bird rights to max Hassan didn't help

media tried to start that shyt about wade being pissed that hassan got priority. i don't buy it. Wade was the first to congratulate him. this was all about the initial offer the heat made. they really offered d wade the same money as Matthew delladova......I'm pretty sure he made his decision to leave that same night. he just wanted to rub it in riley's face.
