Bucher says "when Dwight goes to a team like the Lakers, as a big man, he looks at that situation and says 'I HAVE to win a championship' because if he doesn't, he will be the only Lakers big man that hasn't win a champ, and that pressure makes Dwight hesitant esp since Kobe only has 2-3 years left."

- Bucher also talks about Dwight being uncomfortable being compared to Shaquille O'Neal with the Superman monicker.

If he said that, then his heart pump nothing but kool-aid! A nikka so scared of expectations that he is willing to not take the risk to succeed.

i personally think we should still trade for him. let rose get healthy and both of them make a hell of a run. once howard gets there he aint go lay down and lose, he will get in the flow of things and compete. him rose and scrubs is a better shot to win it all than what the hell we have now

and if dude bounce we free from contracts like deng and noah and we start with a clean slate.

i can see okc not wanting to part with young talent like harden and westbrook, deng and noah aint on that caliber. we would have hell of cap space and a healthy rose to start with .

Dwight is right in a way, going to the Lakers could be real toxic for him if they are just an above average team that can't win the big one and guys like Shaq now that he's in the media could make it all the worse for him. Can't say I blame him for passing on that headache especially since this new generation of athlete isn't built for no real stress.

Funny, that blurb could be a paraphrasing, or it could be Bucher reading something in the tea leaves.

This is what I'm sayin. The combination of Noah and boozer/Deng and pick(s) better than anything else the magic have been offered. That should be a standing offer on the table. And like u said, if he bounce we got plenty of cap space to sign or trades for someone else. But let's cross that bridge when it happens. Dude would get here and see sold out games daily with the best fans in the league and might wanna stay after all. But that's a gamble I'm willing to take any day of the week.
