We all know the Rock will run for some kind of office one day. He's taking care of things early
I doubt it. Hes likable, but he doesn't seem to have any firm positions on anything. He tries to please everyone, or just flies under the radar. Everyone hates a fence rider.

Sounds a lot like Arnold Schwarzenegger
Schwarzenegger was a moderate Republican through and through, and mived more left in his 2nd term.

He initially opposed gay marriage, proposed heavy budget cuts, and campaigned for Bush. He also pushed for climate change action and was pro choice. He took stands.

Because anyone who draws as many consistent listeners as he does has an obligation to balanced in their coverage. Same as these news networks. They lost all of their credibility because there's an obvious bias in the news now. The problem is Rogan isn't beholden to the same rules public broadcasters have to abide ny.

I used to listen to him occasionally until I realized his platform was way too angled towards the far right and conspiracy theorists, and he sucks as an interviewer when it comes to correcting outright falsehoods. When you have that much misinformation and it's not counteracted, people tend to believe its the truth. And it's funneling a pipeline to the far right that seems like it can't be undone.

I wish to hell someone black would come out with a similar formatted show. No Young fukking Pharaoh ain't it. nikka is ten times goofier than Rogan without any of the media training.

I thought Tariq could've been that at one point, but he's seemingly been co-opted. Charlamagne still favors his political connects. DL seems content with his radio show. Boyce is too fukking corny. Umar is a grifter. Nick Cannon is too scatter-brained. Arsenio is too old. Too many Youtube upstarts don't have the clout or industry connects to do any relevant interviews.

Breh Rogan isnt a news source. Hes a motnerfukker with a podcast. No one here know what its like to have 11 million ppl listen to your conversations everyday. Ya hold people like him to these high standards and try to put boundaries over what hes allowed to discuss. What if gillie and wallo start getting that many listeners with million dollars worth of game, are we going to start dictating what wild shyt comes out of gillies mouth? The same with drinkchamps, if nore gets 11 million listeners are we going to say nore needs to be more responsible with alcohol because hes influencing people to become alcoholics? These dudes dont hold any obligation to anyone, if you dont like what they say then dont listen

It was 2000. He supported Bush and spoke at the RNC convention. Mind you, this was at the height of his wrestling popularity in 2000. This is who he's always been :unimpressed:
If he spoke at the dnc and supported Al Gore, how would that had been better?

Rogan supposedly gets 11mil listens/views per episode, which is at least 2x the amount of MSM shows on CNN; Fox, and MSNBC.

The Rock is a mega star, makes sense he goes on Rogan, especially if he has shyt to promote. :ehh:
right, rock is a brand name before anything else, same with beyonce and Oprah

He used to host Fear Factor, plus he does commentary on UFC. Weird how he’s become this successful podcaster in the past few years.
I was thinking of this, dude really was on fx or spike tv with fear factor 15 years ago and here we are today with him being an obtuse, idiot.

A lot of athletes, ex-athletes/performers etc., are VERY conservative. Not even just fiscally conservative but socially too.

WWE/WWF dudes in particular are probably a lot more conservative or libertarian than we'd realize.

Rock strikes me as a moderate that probably likes the George Bush Sr. type Republicans but not the Trump Republicans. He voted Biden since Biden is basically like an old school Republican or Democrat...when the two were much closer to the center. He definitely ain't on the Bernie, AOC, Ayanna wave but he doesn't want to piss people off.

Since he wants to be in Hollywood, he can't go too far bashing the left. He also wants the WWE fan support so he can't get at the right either.
WWE and WWF full of rednecks with heavy racism lol idk how people don't see it.
