Every real hip-hop head needs to have Hard to Earn & Moment Of Truth in their discog.
You're referring to the Prhyme albums yeah those were superb albums. Those joint album should've come AFTER Royce collaborated with Premo on "Hip-Hop" from the Death Is Certain album.I'm a something scriligious(Sp?) i liked guru a lot but Royce and Preme although their sample size is limited in comparison is just as ill.

I get what you saying. Premier is one of them rare gems. Rare meticulous compared to some of my favs. Sidenote Freddie Foxx (Bumpy Knuckles) said awhile back that him and Premo basically have numerous songs in the vault.I'm just saying Guru was good. But shyt you could have made an album with damn near anyone with Premier of all the East Coast greats and it would have been ill. I take that back because singles and an entire album is diff. But you mean to tell me A Big L album or a Busta Rhymes album with Premier beats wouldn't have been at least AS good?

The Big L and Premier collabo would've be monumental. L's gritty punchlines + Premiers production...fire.
MC eiht did some of his beat justice and I'm not big on Eiht. This in particular was decent. I think that stigma comes from it being Premier. I think with any skillful cat who's into beatmaking you going to approach it with the notion of killing it. For comparison it like when underground cats hop on a Stoupe (of Jedi Mind Tricks) beat or 9th wonder to a extent.Thinking through things thru tho that's might have it all have been. Guru was more introspective and thoughtful. Everybody else just gets a dope Premo beat and try to spaz.

Devin The Dude? Another brother that gets overlooked for his storytelling ability (prime example of this is Apartment #8216)Yeah i think they did an album together. shyt blows my mind. And I'm probably not the person to speak on Eight matter of fact I know im not but he sounds decent here lower tier Mozzy but its crazy. If he stepping out his zone like that then he might as well make an Album with Devin who is WAY more talented than MC Eight.
