One of the cleanest beats i ever heard:wow:

But what i notice about a lot of Bay music, they will definitely be on some gettin money/ballin' shyt, but they also throw some real, everyday shyt in them songs

"How come we cant be broke sometimes? Sometimes it's cool to floss, but dont buy a $85,000 car, before you buy a house"

And 40 really had money like that even back then.

Even on "Gettin' It", $hort was sayin real shyt in that song. Tellin brothaz get an education, get a job, etc

The sonics ain't for everyone, but there really is a reason that Pac gave the bay so much credit for raising him the right way. This is one of my favorite songs, not just by Short, but just in general. It's so retartedly simple, but it works great at the same time somehow lol

See, this is what I'm talkin about:wow:

And i dig the simpler stuff. Give me a song wit a dope beat, a few verses where you not tryna do some off the wall shyt on the mic and i'm sold.

Mac Mall is another one who dropped a lot of game in his raps

These cats don’t know how much free game Fonzarelli was giving y’all in his lyrics. People write him off just because of his voice, delivery and sometimes corny lyrics.

There’s a reason the OGs in the mainstream fukk with the homie from the itty bitty city by the water.
