NFS franchise has been dead for a while now.

When they just started in the 90s they offered cool racing games where you could drive luxurious cars, in pretty decent graphics for that era. Then the street racing trend came up and NFS/Midnight Club were go-to arcade game series for a few years for most of gamers. Around 2010 that whole street racing trend was done. Rockstar Games killed off Midnight Club series and focused on GTA, while EA kept releasing those half assed Need For Speed games where none of them felt as major as Underground or the first Most Wanted. They used to release them shyts yearly and they all felt like playing same game over and over.

I had a bit of fun with the recent one, Unbound I think.

Granted I got it when it was on PS+, but it wasn't that bad.

Street racing games are dead. Sim racing is where it's at as far as racing games go right now
