just seemed like a small family that loved each other & genuinely enjoyed each others company which showed in the music & accompanying videos....

everything from Hot Boys trading verses to the Big Tymers trading verses, just ill. The chemistry was perfect. Many labels in hip-hop historically preached the idea of family but it was obvious that Cash Money during theses days was one.

There was supposed to be an uptown gz album with baby, six shot and some one else....

This was during the 2005 time....

This really has nothing to with the post but I was listening to fast money and had flash backs...

Yes I miss cmr with the big tymers and hot boys...

But when you listen to interviews, there were hints that maybe they weren't as close as we all believed...

I mean nikkas were rocking out with each other real tough, but I believe baby exaggerated the actual extent...

Mannie and BG were pretty tight
Mannie and Juve got tighter a few years after they both left CMR...They had tension after Juve said Mannie was basically his way or no way in the studio
Baby and Mannie were hella tight...Of course the money fukked shyt up
Turk and Wayne were tight

Thats pretty much it...

I think Mannie and Wayne would have the greatest chemistry in the studio at this point outta the HBS...

I think BG is mentally scarred about the way the CMR shyt played out...

He never got over it....

I missed those 98-01 CMR days :sadcam: Album after album with no features other than CMR artists. The back and forth verses they would do (ie: Wayne/Turk on I Need a Hot Girl). The videos were always great too.

Edit: I still rock them CDs to this day. Pic I posted on IG from last month while waiting forever at the USA border:

Truthfully you could not find 6 more different dudes in Louisiana.

Baby = Hustlers, Grimy, unreadable
Mannie = Artistic, silly, genuine, ride or die
B.G= Real goon, ran with real killers, stand up dude, addict
Wayne = Young at the time, naive, sheltered, gifted
Juvenile = Stand up guy from the real hood, non-goon unlike B.G., street wise, mature
Turk = Wild, young, unpredictable, addict.

Most southern dudes are very loyal, so they came together for a cause. Once they realized the money was never coming fairly, that loyal shyt ends.
