I'm thinking all the DC characters on screen together for the first time will make more $ worldwide but Civil War will be a better movie based off track record. But who knows, we'll see how it plays out.

Things change. Iron Man is a huge deal now because of Downey Jr. and the Disney machine. I haven't predicted anything yet but to say a movie with Iron Man shouldn't be doing this or that, he's grown over the past 8 years or so.

I also wonder if some people will have "Batman fatigue" with this coming out so close to Nolan's trilogy. Right now I'm leaning towards Civil War making more in the U.S. but Batman v. Superman making more overseas.

I don't think I'll answer the poll because what's "better" is subjective and I'm sure nobody will ever agree on that for these two movies lol

disney is just 10x better at marketing their properties than wb is.

if BVS doesn't outgross civil war I believe that is a huge point against warners. because if Disney had batman and superman there would be no debate they would both be billion dollar properties and the excitement for the team up movie would probably rival Star Wars.


edit: Okay batman was already a billion dollar franchise...

Man that last trailer for Batman V Superman definitely lowered my expectations but we'll see seems like they didn't want to confuse people about the two being enemies and wanted to showcase them forming the justice league. Hopefully Civil War sticks to the Heroes being at odds with each other throughout the whole movie and doesn't use Zemo to be the ultimate reason for the fissure. I mean that can work as long as there's still a definite division between Iron Man and Captain America and their opposing sides at the end. Monetary wise they'll both make bank just depends which one resonates with the masses more will determine that.
