Yeah, but this solo artist is shytting on any recent effort I've seen by them.

The artwork went viral with 200k+ views within the first day, so I'm thinking this guy could do something here if he really wanted with all that interest. A kickstarter or whatever.

It's viral because its Earthbound though. How would he flip that to a kick starter. Design a Earthbound "inspired" game?

It's crazy because when I was playing that Earthbound, I didn't really know anybody that fukked with it. Then it becomes one of SNES' best games. I still remember the big ass box it came in with the strategy guide w/ the scratch and sniff card in the back.

I remember that box. I saw that shyt at blockbuster back in the day and rented it off the strength of that.

Ended up buying it once I had to return it. Ended up with late fees since they only let you hold that shyt for 2 days back then.

shyt was dope. I beat it when I had it, but I played a ROM of it not that long ago. Great game. Should have had a sequel.

Never played the original. Was meaning to, but never got around to doing it. I don't know why Nintendo won't just recreate their lesser known titles. I mean, they've been doing the same shyt with Mario, Zelda and Metroid for years. Though I do understand there can be licensing issues. I would purchase a game like this off those pics alone

I just played and beat Earthbound earlier this year after I copped it on the Wii U eshop. It's one of my top 5 games of all time. Just phenomenal stuff. Clearly ahead of its time in regards to some of the religious themes and maturity going on in a Nintendo game at that point.

This would be amazing to see happen, but Nintendo won't. They're too lazy and concerned with making a cheap, easy buck. That's why there's still hardly anything on the Wii U eshop a year after release, and the only Zelda games they're tryna give us are a fukking HD remake for 60 bucks and a goddamn Dynasty warriors spin off. fukk Nintendo honestly
