Earthquakes. How prepared are you?

I'm old enough to remember experiencing the big bay area quake back in '89. They're not as bad as non-californians make them out to be lol. We got a strong block association that I'm a member of, so I feel pretty good about my preparedness, just gotta work on this solar project I've been meaning to tackle sooner than later.

I was swag surfing in the bathroom doorway of my Aunt's room in 89. shyt was fun to me, granted I was only 4, but nikka that was an experience. And there hasn't been a bigger one anywhere in the lower 48 since (?)

As for preparation, aint too much different than prep for other natural disasters. Have essentials ready and an idea of where to go.. because you aren't earthquake proofing your own building without a lot of coin, even then, its a toss up.

Honestly though... shyt sounds much scarier than it is. I was 4 nikkas... yall grown, it'll be alright.

I remember a good portion of the east coast got one in August of 2011, I remember it clearly...


I get out the subway in Manhattan, office workers evacuated out on the street, people having an and face, I'm like what happened!?


Eventually I get to 59th and 5th Ave and see breaking news on a TV in a window saying a earthquake hit
