I like both actually. Both have pluses and negatives
West: Great weather except for the Central Valley(fresno) where I'm originally from. Good food, fine women, good green and craft brew, love the ocean. But not much housing for the population and the houses, especially here in LA, are trash, small, and drab. Gotta drive everywhere which is good and bad.
East: Good food, cool people(those that I've met), historic places, love the architecture- brick brownstones, townhouses, etc. Way better homes than on the west coast imo. But bad weather, some cities/areas are run down and depressing.
