Man

to you for posting this. Both sides of my family are from EPA. My pops' side moved their from Alabama with the original black migration in the mid-50's, moms' side moved there from Richmond in the late-50's. My parents and all my aunts and uncles graduated from Ravenswood HS. I was familiar with a lot of the history of EPA but the article had a bunch of stuff I never knew about. EPA was my second home and I came up during the murder capital days hearing guns go off all day and night. Most of my uncles and cousins were factors in the streets of EPA (they were all from Midtown). I've also seen the city slowly change and was there last summer and saw it vastly change for the better. Also noticed that Facebook campus for the first time as well. My moms side of the family is gone, but my pops side is still there and a couple cousins and myself are planning to but my grandparents home there to continue our legacy in the city and keep that home we all grew up in (corner of Bay Road and Ralmar). Again, thanks for posting, my nig!
