Isn't that why we're all here? If you came just to have everything you say agreed with, you can just go talk to yourself in the mirror lol

I get your point and I don't disagree. If I misinterpreted something or I'm wrong, so be it. I'm just offering a differing point of view. Cube's son getting casted is obvious nepotism and I think he should've avoided that just for the sake of being objective. He's a producer and I guess he can do what he wants.

I hope there was at least an attempt to give everyone some sort of inclusion, even if it's just getting to see the movie and being on the red carpet. If she had to pay to get a ticket in a regular theater, that'd be some bullshyt.

EDIT: She was on the red carpet with Dre, Cube & all the rest.

Nepotism is the name of the game in Hollywood. Why WOULDNT Cube cast his son in a movie about HIS life? Especially given the fact that Ice Cube Jr. has gotten rave reviews for performance?

But they wouldn't give Eazy's role to his son though :sas1:

Again Ice Cube's son has gotten critical praise as has the actor who played Easy. Obviously the casting decisions were the right ones
Nobody has said that Jason Mitchell's portrayal wasn't great. You and I both know that wasn't the base of the argument :beli:

Cube son was in acting school though. You can't just pull lil eazy off the street, cross your fingers and hope he does a good job.
I agree, I never said he wasn't the right choice but dude was trying to base his claim that nepotism is rampant in Hollywood. If that was the case then Eazy and Dre's sons would of gotten the roles of their dads :martin:

No they wouldn't. Easy wasn't a creative consultant or producer (for obvious reasons) and Dre's sons (to my knowledge) haven't been to film school to study (as Cube's son did)

I guarantee you that's what it is. No disrespect to lil eazy e but he wasn't cut out for the movie.

The guy who played Eazy said Lil Eazy and Eazys family was real helpful when it came to helping get him into character..So I'm not sure when Eazy E started to get upset about the whole thing....Maybe it was once he found out Cubes son was going to play him that he felt like he should've gotten the chance to play his pops too, which is understandable.

Also I kinda get why everybody hates Tomika, but on the other hand I don't:patrice:....Eazy E did leave the business to a woman who I believe didn't have any experience running a record label:manny:....I cant say she ruined Bone Thugs which would be Eazy's remaining legacy after he died....I do think they failed to capitalize on what they could've went on to do as far as solo careers...but I don't think creative freedom was ever one of the issues...They just needed Eazy as the genius markerter he was,as well as his executive producer talents and ear....Eazy would've known how to market each one individually to give them the best chance at superstar solo careers:mjcry:...even if wasn't bullshyt involved with Tomika, and greed,I still don't think she would've known what to do to take them each to the next level...as group I think they had pretty much ran they course,at least as a full time group.
