Just sold a camera for $1,750, ebay took over 12% in fees from that, the rest is to me. Then on the flip side charged my buyer tax for a total on their end for just over $1,900 total cost of the item. Ebay making a killing when you add in listing fees and what not.

In the streets:

You got a bag of some shyt you trying to get off, but you wanna get it off quick and don’t got the clientele like that. So you let a middle man with more clientele know you trying to get something off. They gonna get it off quick. But you gotta show them some love. Then they gonna put they tax on the nikka they getting it for too. They double taxing. Regular business no different from the streets. If it ain’t making sense, you gotta figure out a way to cut out the middle man.

Did you try to sell locally first (Facebook marketplace, Offerup, Craigslist)?

Yeah, the glory days of zero taxes, fees and getting your money IMMEDIATELY from the buyer are long gone. This ain't 2003. :mjcry:

It was over once they started collecting taxes on online purchases. You used save a grip buying like $4k tv from online places, no sales tax.

I don’t even understand how eBay works anymore.

Back in my day they used to bid and it started at the lowest price. Now it feels like they price is set and there is no bidding

What gives Chucky?:gucci:

Too many zero feedback non paying bidders. Waste of time.
